A note on the organizational process

Each specimen is given a number based on chronology and recorded into a database based on a classification system. The physical specimens are kept in drawers mostly according to this organizational system.



Object Classifications

Subject Class:
A (magenta) – Inanimate or absent subject
B (cyan) – Living singular subject
C (yellow) – Multiple living subjects

Descript (circle) – Visual or other supplementary classification of subject
Nondescript (square) – No supplementary classification of subject

Action Class:
0 – No action
1 - Action
2 – Communication (between subjects)
3 – Connection (between collector and subject – subject unaware)
4 – Contact (between collector and subject – subject aware)
